It is my duty to make this as seamless and stress free as possible. Booking a session through Shoots With Syd is super easy and I'm here to guide you the whole way.
01. CONTACT
The two best ways to reach out to me are through my contact form/email and through social media messaging platforms like Instagram. I should contact you within a few days, if not please feel free to reach out again!
02. PICK A LOCATION
Picking a location is one of the most important factors in giving you the perfect session. We can discuss ideas both of us may have in order to determine the best location for you!
03. SEASON & TIMELINE
Figuring out the best time to book your session is crucial in order to give you a stress free experience. My availability is typically pretty open and want to book your session when the time is best for you!
04. AWAIT YOUR SESSION
In the time between booking and the actual date of your session, do not hesitate to contact me with any additional questions or concerns you may have. Need help picking an outfit? Thats what I'm here for!
05. SESSION ARRIVAL
The day before/the day of your session, I will reach out directly to you in order to confirm your session as well as sending directions to our location if needed. Then the fun of your session begins! This is where payment will be due.
06. SESSION DELIVERY
Session delivery, the most time consuming process. On average, my delivery time is two weeks(the exception is weddings). I will send sneak peeks within a week of your session. Once your gallery is complete I will send you the link to access your beautiful memories we've captured together!
FAQ
Will I receive every pose we try?
Although I try to send back as many images as possible, there are occasional times where a pose just does not turn out the way we had planned and the decision of not including them in the gallery during the selection process does happen.
What determines the price of a wedding session with you?
The main two factors that go into the price estimate of booking me for your special day is 1. The amount of hours I will be needed 2. How much of your wedding you want captured. Some couples want the bare minimum; the ceremony and posed shots of the bride and groom. Whereas some want their whole day captured from start to end.
Are travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel within one hour of Richmond, KY is included in all packages. Locations exceeding one hour may require an additional travel fee depending on distance and accommodations needed.
What if I want to add in something fun/unique to my session?
I absolutely LOVE trying new things and including personal touches to your session. Wether its wanting to bring confetti to your graduation session or having your loved pet tag along to family photos, I'm down for it all! Just reach out to me about what you would like to bring in advance so we can plan accordingly:)
What locations do you recommend?
I recommend finding a location that best suits your personality and the vibe you’re wanting to go for! Upon booking your session, I may recommend some spots that suit what you’re describing for your vision. I also have a location guide with all of my favorite spots I can send after booking your shoot!
How long does it take to receive my gallery?
During busy season(April-October) my expected turnaround time is 3 weeks. During off season you can typically expect 2 weeks. The exception for this being weddings. My wedding galleries on average take 4-8 weeks to be delivered.
